In his latest match report, 12-year-old Brandon Guy watched Swindon Town Girls C6 take on Chelsea at The County Ground.

C6 year 13 Girls VS Chelsea

The teams both started with a bit of nerve and neither side properly settling on the ball. C6 then started to take control of the game with Maddie Brown having a decent attempt at goal. Five minutes later, C6 took the lead through a well timed pass to Maddie Brown who made no mistake this time in slotting home. C6 continued their good work but just couldn’t find that much needed second goal.

Half Time: Swindon 1 – 0 Chelsea

Five minutes into the second half, C6 got a deserved second goal through a superb run and finish from Helena Diaz-Butcher. C6 then got a third, this time through a stunning finish from Mia Mugford. That wasn’t enough for Town and they got a fourth with Audrey Gunn the scorer.

Full Time: Swindon 4 – 0 Chelsea

My Girl of the match was goalkeeper Carla Heaton who made some great saves on her way to get a deserved clean sheet.
