The STFC Community Foundation Trustees
Swindon Town FC Community Foundation are lucky to have a highly professional and experienced board to trustees to help ensure the Foundation stays true to its vision, mission, and core values.
Currently sitting on the board, are:
Mrs Kirsteen Fraser — Chairperson
As a highly experienced teacher and school leader with a focus on social inclusion, Kirsteen is well placed to advise and be involved with our SEN, SEMH, educational and social programmes. As Safeguarding Lead, Kirsteen brings experience and insight to our Safeguarding structure. Kirsteen is also a lifelong Swindon Town supporter and supports the Foundation through volunteering at events and residential opportunities.
Mrs Wendy Craig
An experienced Head of PE in a Swindon School (Dorcan Academy), instrumental in organising regional football for girls across Wiltshire with experience in supporting sports education. Wendy will be able to advise on our Education/Social Media (PSHE) and Schools programmes, as well as taking the Trustee lead on Environmental Sustainability.
Mr Andrew Wilkins
Andrew is Head of Financing at St.James Place Wealth Management Company and he will bring his vast experience and expertise to supporting the Foundation with all aspects of the future financial planning.
Andrew is also a very keen football fan and has volunteered every week for the last few years with our DS Active group.
Mrs Caroline Brown
Caroline is an experienced HR professional in a national company andcontinues to develop her professional knowledge by studying further in this area.Caroline is the lead Trustee on the Foundations HR and Equality & Diversity. As a parent of a participant who progressed through our girl’s development programmes, Caroline also has a great insight into being a stakeholder.
Mr Rich Parker
As a member of the very first group of Football Fans in Training at Swindon Town, and a volunteer at every group since. Rich works as a senior technician within the Bereavements Department for Capita Life and Pensions and brings a wealth of experience to the role.
Following his graduation in 2015, he developed a love for running and has completed many marathons and ultra-marathons across the country.
Rich has been a Swindon fan for more than 40 years and is a season ticket holder along with the rest of his family.
Mr Keith Hutchens
Keith has worked in the Railway Engineering Industry with the same company for over 40 years, from starting as a technician apprentice through to now being a quality inspector, as well as various other roles along the way.
Keith has been involved with the Community Foundation since I was a Football Fan in Training participant in January 2015, the first course that was run in Swindon and England. Keith has helped and volunteered in every course since, men’s, ladies, and younger men.
Keith is a very proud Swindon Town supporter and season ticket holder for over 30 years and is looking forward to supporting the Community Foundation moving forward.
Mr Tony Williams
Tony devoted his life to education, sport, and community. He began teaching in Gosport, Hampshire, before moving to the Swindon area in 1984 to join Dorcan School, where he inspired generations of students until his retirement in 2011.
Football has always been central to Tony’s life. A keen player in Gosport and later Cirencester, he also ran his village men’s team. In 1998 he became Secretary of the Wiltshire Schools FA, introducing girls’ competitions and championing inclusive school football; today he serves as Chairman and represents schools on the Wiltshire County FA committee.
Tony has also volunteered widely, supporting youth teams locally and abroad, including trips to the Gothia Cup and refereeing courses in Zambia. Alongside this, he served his community as a Parish Councillor and Chairman of the Parish Council for 20 years, stepping down in 2023 after decades of dedicated service.
