Football for People with Learning Difficulties
LD Football (formerly knows as Special Olympics) is a weekly session for adults aged 16+ with learning disabilities. The session takes place every Monday on Foundation Park between 1.30 – 2.30pm with sessions running concurrently with term times. The session work out at £2 per session.
The group come together to play competitive football in the ability counts league which is organised by the Wiltshire County FA. They have a good relationship with our Super Robins Mental Health Football Team, often training and playing together, and occasionally joining together to play fixtures.
