Swindon Town Football in the Community Trust are delighted to re-launch the Zambia Project donations appeal. The appeal got off to a fantastic start last week, with the generous donation of over
100 pairs of running trainers from
‘Slinn Allstars’ running club, who have kindly supported the project over the last few years. The trainers were dropped into
‘The Big Yellow’ self-storage, Drakes Way, Swindon, who are once again providing the storage for the kit and equipment, prior to the planned visit to Zambia in October. Jon Holloway
STFITC Trust Manager commented ‘ We would once again like to thank Clare Slinn and the Slinn Allstars running club for their kind donations that will be greatly appreciated in the villages and communities of Zambia. We must also recognise and thank the Big Yellow’s continued support for our Zambia Project. Their professional storage enables the kit and equipment to be collected in a secure and clean environment ready to be transported out to Africa. If anyone has any football boots, trainers or football kits that they would like to donate then they can be dropped directly into the Big Yellow or here at
STFITC.’
