Toffolo joins up as Tiny Tots & Mini Soccer ambassador

Harry Toffolo at mini soccer[/caption] This week, Swindon Town Football in The Community trust announced the successful signing of Swindon Town defender Harry Toffolo, as its Tiny Tots/Mini Soccer ambassador. Currently on loan from Norwich City, Harry has recently stated that he was keen to get involved in some local charity work and as soon as the Community Trust heard this news, we approached Harry about coming on board as one of our player ambassadors. This week, Harry attended our Dorcan Mini Soccer 4 – 5 year old session and took part in our programme which included the 15 minute warm up and ballwork session, a running with the ball session and small sided games. Harry was very impressed with the skills and attitude on show and was delighted to get in amongst the session and pass on his football knowledge to our budding next generation of stars. Harry is now planning to come out to regular Tiny Tots and Mini Soccer classes throughout the week to help coach the sessions and to also help bring through our future STFC stars! Tiny Tots & Mini Soccer Co-ordinator Andy Ealey commented “It is great to have Harry attend our Dorcan session this week and we are all delighted to announce Harry as our new player ambassador of the scheme. He will be coming out to as many sessions as he can around his footballing schedule and we all can’t wait for his next visit!” STFiTC’s Tiny Tots and Mini Soccer scheme is one of many extremely popular projects that the Football in The Community run with the tiny tots sessions aimed at 2 – 4 year olds with around 80 children being coached throughout the week and the mini soccer sessions aimed at 4 – 5 year olds with 90 children being coached throughout the week. These children are then moved through our Tiny Tots and Mini Soccer sessions into our mainstream Development Centres and then onto our Advanced Centres.
