Children from Chiseldon Primary School were treated to a visit from Swindon Town players as part of the EFL Day of Action initiative.

Jordan Young, Donal McDermott, Ellis Iandolo, Luke Norris, Olly Lancashire, Reice Charles-Cook, Amine Lingazi and Matt Preston were all put through their paces by the pupils in an interview situation.

Our guests from Chiseldon were given a tour of the County Ground, educated on its history, shown the home and away changing rooms, before writing their own match reports.

The children were then surprised by the Town players who were more than willing to answer questions about their experiences as pros.

The EFL Day of Action is aimed at showcasing the great work organisations like Swindon Town Football in the Community Trust, Swindon Town Football Club and the EFL Trust do for young people up and down the country.

Head of Trust, Jon Holloway said: The EFL Day of Action is a great opportunity to showcase the fantastic work Community Trusts are delivering all over the Country. Today we have hosted a class of children from Chiseldon Primary School and it has been brilliant to see the excitement form the pupils as they have toured the County Ground and interviewed the first team players.”
