Successful Premier League Primary Stars Tournament!
Last week, we hosted our Girls Premier League Primary Stars Cup, which took place on both Tuesday and Thursday and featured an impressive 15 teams competing for the top spot.
Local schools from across Swindon brought energy, enthusiasm, and some serious footballing talent to the pitch. Every team showed determination and spirit, but ultimately, only two could progress to the final stage.
On Tuesday, Covingham School delivered a standout performance, showcasing excellent teamwork and skill throughout the tournament. Their efforts were rewarded with a well-deserved 3 – 0 victory in the final match of the day.
Then on Thursday, Ruskin School demonstrated remarkable consistency, winning all six of their games. Their final match ended in a tight 1 – 0 victory, securing their place in the next round.
These two schools will now go head-to-head in a grand final, where they will compete for the honour of representing Swindon in a major regional tournament against top teams from across the south of England.
We love our supporters.
And we love what we do. But we couldn’t do it without these great people that get behind us. Be a supporter.
