STFC Foundation Hosted PL Primary Stars Event!
Hosted at Swindon Town FC Foundation, the Premier League Primary Stars Girls U11’s event was a brilliant celebration of football, teamwork and inspiration.
We welcomed over 120 girls to Foundation park to take part in the big event. From the first kick of the day, the Tournament delivered exciting and competitive matches, with every team showing fantastic skill, determination and sportsmanship. It was clear how much pride the girls took in representing their schools and clubs.
The Skill Zone added even more energy to the event, giving players the chance to sharpen their technique, test themselves in fun challenges and build confidence in a supportive environment.
A real highlight of the day was an inspiring workshop with Swindon Town Women’s player, Libby Waylen, who shared her journey and encouraged the girls to believe in themselves and enjoy every opportunity the game brings.
The excitement continued with freestyle sessions led by Taylor Macdonald, where creativity and flair were on full display. The players embraced the challenge, learned new tricks and expressed themselves with confidence.
Congratulations to the three teams who progressed to the Premier League Primary Stars Girls U11’s National Finals:
Plymouth Argyle
Bristol Rovers
Oxford United
Best of luck at the National Finals!
A special mention as well to Covingham School, proudly representing Swindon Town at the tournament, a fantastic achievement and a proud moment for the school and community.
We love our supporters.
And we love what we do. But we couldn’t do it without these great people that get behind us. Be a supporter.
