DS Active at Northampton Town[/caption] Seven members from STFC DS Active went on their travels on Sunday 12th October, proudly travelling in the STFC Community minibus to their fixture at Northampton Town. It was a very special day with the hosts making everybody very welcome on arrival. The format of the morning was three matches of 15 minutes each, with all the participants giving it their all during the game time. The major difference between the two sides was that Northampton Town had a permanent keeper, unfortunately STFC’s Goalkeeper, Ryan Davis was unavailable for the fixture. Northampton Town won all three matches but everybody was awarded with a souvenir medal thanking them for their efforts. On behalf of STFC Community Trust we would like to say a very big thank you for all the families for putting on food and hospitality after the event. And a special thank you goes to former Swindon Town player, Russell Lewis, who is now the Manager of Northampton Town Community Trust. It is hoped that the return fixture will be hosted at the Cirencester Town arena in February 2015. [gallery ids=“5377,5376,5375,5374,5373,5372,5371,5369,5364”]
