The extremely successful partnership between Swindon Town FC Community Foundation and Intel continues, as they announce the renewal of their sponsorship until 2023.

Intel has been a major presence in the town since 1973 when they constructed their European Headquarters on Piper’s Way, and they have had a connection with the Football club since 1994 when they sponsored the construction of the Don Rogers stand — at the time known as the ​‘Intel Stand’.

Intel has been the main sponsor of STFC Community Foundation for over nine years now, forming their partnership in 2011. In that time, they have worked together to find ways to implement the technology for which Intel is world renowned, into the Foundation’s work within the community.

STFC Community Foundation Head of Foundation, Jon Holloway, said of the renewed partnership:

“It means so much to us that Intel would approach the Foundation to reaffirm this partnership ahead of it’s renewal date. It’s been a difficult year for everyone and as a Charitable Foundation it has been extremely challenging. However, Intel were able to see the work that we’ve been doing in the community during the pandemic, and by continuing as our main sponsors it sends a message that we are committed to making a difference together.
