A community-focused social action event is set to take place this Saturday ahead of Swindon Town Football Club’s home fixture against Accrington Stanley, bringing together football, fundraising, and local partnership work.

Organised as part of the Premier League Primary Stars Programme, the event is being delivered in collaboration with Ann Edwards Primary School. The initiative highlights the club’s ongoing commitment to supporting education and grassroots sport within the local community.

Taking place at Foundation Park between 11:00am and 12:00pm, the event will offer a range of fun, family-friendly activities designed to engage young people and supporters alike. Attendees can take part in attractions such as an inflatable pitch, target ring challenges, football tennis, and basketball sessions.

The primary aim of the event is to raise funds to help Ann Edwards Primary School invest in new sports equipment, enhancing the quality of its physical education provision and creating more opportunities for pupils to stay active.

All activities will be cash-only, with participation costs ranging from 50p to £1, making it an affordable outing for families attending the match. In addition, a raffle will be held, offering supporters the chance to win Swindon Town prizes. Raffle tickets can be purchased in advance from reception at Foundation Park.

Fans heading to the game are encouraged to arrive early and stop by the Dome to show their support, enjoy the activities, and contribute to a meaningful cause within the community.
