Swindon Town FC Community Foundation is delighted to announce that Ridgeway Hospital, Wroughton, part of the Circle Health Group, has become the official sponsor of the Foundation’s team taking part in the Swindon Half Marathon on Sunday 27 September 2026.

The sponsorship will support the Foundation’s fundraising efforts, with every pound raised through the event and Ridgeway Hospital’s generous backing going directly towards its Disability Programmes, including DS Active, Pan Disability Football and Adult Learning Disability sessions.

Ridgeway Hospital has proudly served the local community for over 40 years with first-class healthcare and has earned a strong reputation for delivering fast, expert diagnosis and treatments across both routine and complex conditions. Circle Health Group is the largest independent private hospital provider in the UK, operating a network of over 50 private hospitals nationwide.

This partnership reflects a shared commitment to improving health, wellbeing, and inclusion within the local community, helping to ensure people with disabilities have access to regular physical activity and opportunities to develop new skills in a welcoming environment where they can thrive.

Darren Howell, Strategic & Partnership Manager said Swindon Town FC Community Foundation would like to thank Elizabeth Rugg, Executive Director and Danusia Szczerkowska, Sales and Marketing Manager for their valued support and commitment to making a positive difference to the lives of disabled people across Swindon and the surrounding area. We look forward to working with Ridgeway Hospital again in the very near future”.
