Got a great idea for a business but unsure who to turn to for advice? Outset Swindon has the solution! ​“Have you ever had a dream of running your own business? But never knew how to start one? Outset is a great course to take part in to start your dream off! I know because I took part in it. Outset gives you an insight in how to do each step towards starting off your business from advertising to your financial incomes and outgoings.” Football in the Community Trust student Swindon Town Football in the Community Trust is working with Outset Swindon to offer our education students access to Outset’s free business training. The business start-up services, funded by Swindon Borough Council and the European Regional Development Fund, include information sessions, workshops, 1:1 mentoring and help with accessing finance. Trust Manager Jon Holloway has already seen the benefits. ​“It was clear to see that the programme Outset offers gives the students a real insight into business and also encourages them to think about all aspects of starting and running a successful business. We will be encouraging more of our students to partake in Outset’s courses this year and we look forward to seeing some of our students running their own businesses in years to come.” Outset’s services are available for anyone aged over 16 who lives in Swindon Borough.
