Swindon Town C6 Girls are heading back to the CEFA Cup Final after a dominant 4 – 0 victory over Derby County in the semi-finals at Foundation Park.

The young Robins delivered an outstanding performance to secure their place in the showpiece event, combining clinical finishing with moments of real quality throughout the match.

Star Allen opened the scoring in style, powering home a bullet header from a corner to give Swindon an early lead. The momentum continued almost immediately, as Freya Monk doubled the advantage with a composed and well-taken volley inside the area, putting the team firmly in control.

The standout moment of the first half came from Elise Clayton, who produced a moment of pure class. From 25 yards out, she curled a stunning free-kick into the top corner, leaving the goalkeeper with no chance and extending the lead to 3 – 0.

Swindon carried their dominance into the second half, and it was Star Allen again who found the net. Finishing off another excellent contribution from Elise Clayton, she grabbed her second goal of the game and capped off a brilliant team performance. Clayton’s influence was undeniable, playing a part in all four goals.

With this emphatic win, Swindon Town C6 now look ahead to the CEFA Cup Final, where they will face Manchester City in a highly anticipated rematch. The two sides met in last year’s final, where Swindon emerged victorious after a dramatic penalty shootout.

The stage is now set for another exciting encounter, as Swindon aim to defend their title when the final takes place this May at Shrewsbury Town Stadium.
