Last weekend, we were delighted to welcome Northampton to the Nigel Eady Training Centre for a highly anticipated fixture between our Development Squad teams as part of the Stephen Thomas Cup. 

Before kick-off, players from both sides took part in an exciting skill zone session designed to sharpen their technique, build confidence on the ball, and encourage teamwork. The morning concluded in dramatic fashion with a lively penalty shootout, giving everyone a chance to showcase their composure under pressure. 

Beyond the football itself, the event offered a wonderful opportunity for players to connect, collaborate, and form new friendships. The positive spirit and sportsmanship on display perfectly reflected what the Stephen Thomas Cup is all about.

We’re already looking forward to organising more fixtures in the near future and continuing to build on the fantastic relationships formed today.
