Double Decker takes children to Croft for Development Course[/caption] STFITC had to roll out its Alternative Provision Plan this week after receiving confirmation from the Environmental Health department saying that due to the ongoing fire at the nearby recycling plant there was still a possible health risk with training outdoors at St. Josephs School. STFITC had to deliver the Development Course this week at Croft Sports Centre and as part of our APP plan Thamesdown Transport again offered their fantastic support in ferrying the children from the County Ground to Croft. This great partnership with Thamesdown Transport enables STFITC to have an alternative provision in place in case of bad weather or unforseen circumstances such as this week. Community Trust Manager Jon Holloway commented “We would like to sincerely thank Paul Jenkins and his staff at Thamesdown Transport for their continued professional support. This important partnership means that whatever the weather or circumstances, our Holiday Development Courses will always go ahead. The children also always enjoy travelling on a double decker bus so this adds to their enjoyment of the course.”
