[caption id=“attachment_5598” align=“alignright” width=“300”] Official Soccer Schools[/caption] We are pleased to be able to offer a brand new initiative at Football in the Community in an Early Bird club, which is child care provision prior to our Holiday Development course aimed primarily at working parents. This is held in the Junior Reds room and we can offer art and craft, table football and the Playstation. Our holiday courses are delivered for children of all abilities and for ages 5 – 15 years. These development weeks are an opportunity for young people to develop their football skills and game awareness whilst making new friends in a secure and fun environment. Our courses are run over three days — Tuesday to Thursday- with the option of choosing to attend for a fourth day on Friday. Included in these development courses is the opportunity to meet members of the Swindon Town first team squad, go on a tour of the County Ground and be a part of the final presentation on the last day which takes place on the pitch in front of family and friends. All participants receive a goodie bag in order to celebrate their involvement in the development week.
