We’re offering an exciting opportunity to join a new Walking Football League in Swindon!

Swindon Town FC Community Foundation are recruiting players and teams for a Walking Football League at their brand new £2.5million facility Foundation Park, which is within touching distance of the Energy Check County Ground. 

If you have never played Walking Football before then this is not a problem, as we shall be hosting 2 open sessions for new players before the league’s start date. 

Starting in September 2020, this new and exciting 6 a‑side league will be split into two age categories — over 50s — 60s and over 60’s. 

Each league will run on alternate Thursday evenings from 8pm, with the over 50’s league on one week and the over 60’s league on the following week. 

There will be no registration fee for the league, however we require £24 on booking which will cover your first week of fixtures. Each game night will cost £24 per team and there will be 2 fixtures per evening. 

The Foundation will supply equipment, qualified referees and we will also complete all the administration and governance of the league. The Foundation’s aim is to make the league as simple as possible for the teams and players to register and enjoy their football, in a professional environment.
