This week is National Storytelling Week and it’s a perfect time to tell you about our Primary Stars literacy project 2024! 

We’ll be going into some of our partner schools to deliver creative writing workshops and in line with the Premier League core value ​‘Be Fair’ we’ll be encouraging children to rewrite some of their favourite fairy tales to be more fair than fairy!

We’ll be talking about how stories can change over the thousands of years they’re passed down. Here are some images illustrating some folk stories from the last 2000 years! Can you guess which well-known fairy tale they evolved into?
