Multi Sports Summer Course
News
Swindon Town Football in the Community Trust delivered their first Multi Sports Social Inclusion Course of the Summer for local children with Special Educational needs and severe physical disabilities. The three day course which was supported by Aiming High proved to be a huge success with over 20 youngsters joining in the fun. The children engaged in activities such as Basketball, Football, Cricket and Uni-hoc during the course and everyone who attended was presented on the last day with their goodie bag, group photograph, STFC replica football and a Swindon Town memento medal. The lead coach on the course, Alan Minns, who delivered the three days of activities commented “It has been an absolute pleasure working with the group once again, and it was so nice to see new faces mixed in with our regular attendees. To see some of these children overcome their disabilities is an absolute sight to behold and it makes me feel immensely proud to be able to work with a group of such special children.” The next Multi Sports course to be delivered by the Trust takes place on the 26th, 27th and 28th August and with there only being 30 places available, spaces are limited.
