Mike Spearman presentation[/caption] It gives us great pleasure to announce that we have awarded Mike Spearman, who has been the Chairman of our Charitable Trust for some 15 years, the title of Honorary Patron of the Swindon Town Football in the Community Trust. Mike has been an outstanding ambassador and Chairman over the past 15 years of the STFC Community Trust and on Tuesday, we marked the occasion in appreciation of all the hard work and commitment he has given to us during this period of time by presenting him with a special gift to commemorate his dedication to us. We all know Mike has been a great servant for Swindon Town Football Club which he has supported for over 40 years with his wife, Olive. He travels in from Witney for every home game where he chairs the Boardroom on behalf of Swindon Town Football Club. From our perspective, we could not have wished for a more committed and fitting person to chair our Community Trust for the past 15 years. Mike, incredibly is coming up to 86 years of age and has gracefully stepped down as Chairman to now take this new mantle. We are delighted to announce that Kirsteen Fraser will be take the position of Chairmanship of the Trust and we would all like to to this opportunity to wish her every success in her new role.
