It was a pleasure to welcome Jonah and Hoops from Life of a Kitman to Foundation Park, where they joined our Staying Connected group for an afternoon of stories, conversation and plenty of football insight.

Known for their popular social media channels, Life of a Kitman offers supporters a unique behind-the-scenes look at life inside the dressing room at Swindon Town, sharing the day-to-day work that goes into preparing the first team for every match. From matchday routines to memorable moments and untold stories, their content has become a favourite among football fans, highlighting the dedication and hard work of the club’s kit staff.

Our Staying Connected group, delivered by the Swindon Town Community Foundation, provides a welcoming and inclusive space where older members of the community can come together, make new friendships, enjoy guest speakers, and take part in a range of engaging activities that help reduce loneliness and social isolation.

It was fantastic for our participants to hear first-hand about the important role the Swindon Town kit team plays behind the scenes, with plenty of fascinating stories, laughs and questions throughout the session. We’d like to thank the Life of a Kitman team for taking the time to visit and helping make it such an enjoyable afternoon for everyone involved.
