10802062_743759595708938_2820634098770292087_nSTFC players Yaser Kasim and Raphael Rossi Branco have both been busy attending our Stratton Advanced and Dorcan Development Centres the past couple of weeks as part of their roles as PFA Community Ambassadors. Raphael Rossi Branco attended our Dorcan Development Centre on Friday 28th November to work with our budding 6 – 7 year old footballers whilst Yaser Kasim attended our STFiTC Advanced U11’s and U10’s teams at Stratton on Thursday 4th December. Both Raphael and Yaser took part in the sessions at the respective centres led by STFiTC Community Officer Andy Ealey and both players were very impressed with the attitudes and abilities of all the participants. Following the sessions the participants were then able to ask both players questions regarding their own footballing careers and to grab photographs and autographs. All the children at both sessions found this to be very exciting and the visit has given them an extra sense of determination to attend all of their sessions and to push themselves. Andy Ealey, STFiTC Community Officer commented Its excellent that both Yaser and Raphael were able to attend the sessions to show the children that hard work and determination really pays off, it has given every child a sense of drive to extend their footballing talent. The players were really great with the children and got stuck in and passed on their expert advice. The plan now is to produce some of these children as the next stars of Swindon Town Football Club!” STFiTC would like to thank Yaser Kasim and Raphael Rossi Branco for their visit to both sessions and are looking forward to having them attend in the near future!
