A super three day course in Swindon was rounded off by a visit from STFC’s influential defender, Jack Barthram, who greeted the football loving children and invited them to participate in a thorough Question and Answer session and handed out the trophies to the children that took part. During this week’s course we saw some superb football played from each group which was matched by great behaviour and attitude by everyone who attended. There was some exceptional teamwork and individual skills and techniques — a concept our coaches thoroughly applauded and enjoyed. A big well done to all of our footballers who took part throughout the week. Congratulations to Arran Ajula who won the famous ​‘Kid of the Course’ trophy from Group 6. Week 2 of the Summer fun and development starts next week with the Swindon Town Football in the Community team in Swindon and Ashton Keynes, whilst also running an Elite Camp and Goalkeeping Clinic in Swindon.
