On Friday night, Swindon Town Football in the Community hosted another successful race night. This time raising funds for the three girls teams travelling to Sweden next month to participate in The Gothia World Cup. We had a fantastic turnout with over
240 cheering on their horses! Huge thank you to the companies that sponsored the races, Verelogic, Excalibur Communications, Trak Employment Solutions, Cotswold Farm Machinery, Hills, Moovahome, Copy Color and Core Construction. We managed to raise a staggering £
3500. We are also pleased to announce that we have been selected to be in the opening parade, our girls (and Community Team) modelled the costumes they will be wearing. Jasmine Hindon was the lucky girl chosen at random to be the flag bearer at the parade. Shane Hewlett — Senior Community Officer said
“Delighted with the turnout and can’t thank the sponsors of the night enough, we now feel ready to embark on a fantastic journey.”
