Girls' Football Week

News

Posted Apr 23, 2018

Here at Swindon Town Football in the Community, we are very excited to be celebrating Girls’ Football Week.

Starting from today, Girls’ Football Week is a national campaign launched by the FA and supported by Disney to get as many girls as possible playing the beautiful game.

Aside from our regular girls’ sessions, we’ll be hosting a Girls’ Festival of Football on Wednesday when the girls from all of our sessions will come together for a big tournament and to make new friends.

On Thursday evening at Peatmoor School and Saturday morning at Commonweal School, we’ll be running our newly launched SSE Wildcats sessions for girls of primary school age. The course costs just £2‑a-session and the first is absolutely free!

Last week, we ran In Schools coaching for over 500 girls in the Swindon area in the hope they’d be inspired to lace up their boots this Girls’ Football Week.

To book any of our Girls Only courses head to officialsoccerschools.co.uk/stfitc, or for more information call our office on 01793 421303.
