Swindon Town Community Foundation are delighted to invite young children to take their first steps into football with a FREE taster session for U5 – 6s (Reception and Year 1). Designed especially for young beginners, this session offers the perfect introduction to the game in a fun, safe, and supportive environment where children can learn through play.

The session will focus on developing basic football skills such as movement, coordination, and ball control, while encouraging teamwork, confidence, and enjoyment. Our experienced coaches understand the importance of creating positive early sporting experiences and will ensure every child feels included, supported, and encouraged throughout the session. Most importantly, the emphasis will be on having fun, staying active, and making new friends.

The free taster session takes place on Tuesday 20^th January, from 4:30 – 5:30pm, at the Foundation Park Dome in Swindon, and is exclusively open to U5 – 6 boys and girls. Parents and guardians will have the opportunity to see first-hand how our sessions are delivered and how children can progress within our development pathway.
