Football League Girls Cup Under 13's
News
Swindon Town Football in the Community Trust took part inthe next round of the FLT Girls U13’s Cup where Dorcan School gallantly and professionally represented the STFC Community Trust. The girls came up against some very stiff opposition, battled well but unfortunately did not progress to the next stages of the competition. They competed against Brentford, AFC Bournemouth and a very strong Crawley Town team who proved to be a step too far for the young girls from Dorcan. It was a great day out with all the girls feeling very proud donning the famous STFC kit. They where treated after the competition to a McDonalds for their efforts along with their teacher Wendy Craig. Wendy commented ‘The girls did really well to win the local Swindon schools competition and where really up against it today where the teams proved to be a little too strong. However, we are very proud of all our girls and I am sure they will learn from today which will make them better people and better players.’
