England selection for Izzy.
We are extremely proud to announce that Izzy Cook from our Girls Centre of Excellence U16’s has been selected for the England U16 squad for their upcoming UEFA tournament against Denmark, Spain and Scotland. The fixtures will take place during the 12th — 19th February in York.
Head of Trust and Girls CFFE U16’s Manager Jon Holloway commented ‘This is fantastic news for Izzy, her family, team mates and Swindon Town Football in the Community. Izzy is a very talented player but matches her talent with a phenomenal work rate and great attitude. These key attributes have clearly been recognised during this selection process. It is brilliant to have Izzy playing for England as this will further inspire all our players throughout our coaching centres.’
