DS Active Participant Lane Stars in 2024/25 Kit Launch
Swindon Town FC Community Foundation was proud to see Lane, one of our DS Active participants, feature in the club’s official launch video for the 2024⁄25 home kit.
Lane has been part of the Foundation’s DS Active sessions for several years and is a familiar, friendly face around Foundation Park. His inclusion in the video is a brilliant example of the club’s commitment to inclusivity and celebrating every part of the Swindon Town community.
The new kit launch video highlighted the people behind the badge — players, fans, and those who represent the spirit of the club. Lane’s involvement was a proud moment for everyone at the Foundation, as well as for his teammates and coaches within the DS Active programme.
Shane Hewlett, Head of Foundation, said:
“We were absolutely delighted to see Lane take part in the official kit launch. He represents everything positive about our DS Active programme — enthusiasm, passion for the club, and a true sense of belonging.”
The DS Active programme, runs in partnership with the Down’s Syndrome Association, provides fun, inclusive football sessions for children and adults with Down’s syndrome. The sessions aim to build confidence, improve physical fitness, and provide a space where participants feel supported and empowered.
