Dean Hooper and Dominic Sterling Talk to C6 Students

News

Posted May 06, 2021

We were very grateful to Dean Hooper and Dominic Sterling from Football Flow UK, for sharing their life experiences with our C6 Football Education students at Commonweal School.

Dean has lived with depression and bipolar throughout his life, and fought back from being sectioned as a teenager to a career as a professional footballer, playing for Swindon Town FC in the mid 1990s.

Football Flow is an organisation launched to bridge the Mental health knowledge gap within Football and beyond, and fill it with coping strategies and tools that enables people to take more control of their lives.

Thanks again to Dean and Dominic for providing this fantastic opportunity for our C6ers.
