Compare the Market joins the EFL as Official Partner for 2026/27 season
Compare the Market has become an Official Partner of the English Football League (EFL) ahead of the 2026⁄27 season, launching a new partnership that will celebrate and reward supporters across all 72 EFL clubs, including Swindon Town.
The partnership will run throughout the season and will celebrate the passion, personality and communities that make EFL football unique. Supporters can look forward to a range of matchday activations, exclusive rewards and monthly prize draws through the Compare the Market app.
The partnership will also include initiatives designed to support football communities, recognising the important role clubs and their supporters play across towns and cities throughout the country.
To mark the launch, Compare the Market teamed up with League Two side Crewe Alexandra for a light-hearted opening-week activation, temporarily renaming the club ‘Crewe Aleksandr’ after the brand’s famous meerkat. Aleksandr was spotted at the club’s Mornflake Stadium alongside former Crewe player Dean Ashton, helping to unveil the temporary rebrand.
While the Crewe activation provides a fun introduction to the partnership, the wider campaign will involve all 72 EFL clubs throughout the 2026⁄27 season.
EFL Chief Commercial Officer Ben Wright said Compare the Market’s reach, profile and originality make it a strong fit for the EFL, with the partnership set to bring supporters closer to the game through rewards, experiences and engaging activations.
Compare the Market Chief Customer Officer Tom Wallis added that the company was proud to support and celebrate the communities that make football so special.
With Swindon Town competing in the EFL for the 2026⁄27 campaign, supporters can look forward to seeing the new partnership come to life throughout the season, with further activities and opportunities planned across the EFL
