It is with a heavy heart that we write this post to inform you that Chris Kirkland sadly passed away this morning. 

In true Chris spirit since receiving the devastating news in early December that Chris may only have a couple of weeks to live, Chris continued to live every day with his unique passion, positivity and wonderful smile. 

On our weekly catch up calls, Chris often told us how much he and his family took huge pleasure and comfort from reading your special messages and memories of Chris that you left below previous posts. 

It was lovely for Chris to know how special he was, and how fondly he will be remembered for the amazing impact he made on so many people. Our thoughts and love are with Maureen and all of Chris’s family and friends at this difficult time. Thank you for everything Sir.
