It has been a highly successful final week before the Christmas break for our C6 teams, capped off by three impressive wins and league-leading positions for both our Girls and Boys 1st teams.

The standout result of the week came from the Boys 1’s, who secured their biggest win of the season with a superb 3 – 1 victory away to second-placed Chelsea in London. In a high-quality contest, goals from Bruno Bugialli, Jonathan Asamoah, and Ollie Lloyd sealed a statement win for Swindon, ensuring they head into the break sitting proudly at the top of the league by four points and games in hand.

The momentum continued with the Boys 2’s, who delivered a dominant performance on the road against Brentford B’s. A commanding 7 – 2 win was highlighted by an outstanding individual display from Finlay Mowe, who netted an incredible four goals. This result lifts the Boys 2’s into second place in their league, just one point behind leaders Fulham, setting up an exciting second half of the season.

Rounding off a perfect day, the Girls team produced a convincing victory over Peterborough. The performance was full of energy and confidence, with Leah Holder earning Player of the Match honours after an excellent all-round display that set the tone for the team’s success.

With strong performances across all teams and league positions looking very promising, our C6 squads head into the Christmas break full of confidence and momentum. A fantastic way to end the year.
