STFC’s first team player Jack Barthram along with STFC Ladies captain Chyna Collings both attended our Stratton Development Centres which host sessions part of the prestigious ​‘Womens & Girls’ Development programme. Jack took part in the sessions along with Chyna and both were very impressed with the attitudes and ability of all the participants. Following the sessions the girls were then able to ask both Collings & Barthram questions regarding their footballing career. All of the girls found this to be very exciting and has given them an extra sense of determination in attending all of their sessions and to push themselves. Beth Thompson, ​‘Women’s & Girls’ Development Officer has commented; ​‘It’s fantastic that both Collings & Barthram were able to attend the session to show the girls that hard work and determination really pays off. It has given the girls a sense of drive to extend and develop their footballing talents. Hopefully the girls will progress onto playing for Swindon Town Ladies like Chyna Collings and myself.’
