We had an extremely memorable trip to the Barcelona Jordi Cup last weekend, in which we had huge success on the field with our girls U15’s and U17’s. 

The girls began the weekend by sailing through their groups, with impressive wins over opposition from Germany, Switzerland and Belgium, to name a few, which saw them reach the knockout stages of the tournament! 

It was a brilliant final day of the tournament, which saw our U15’s crowned champions, while our U17’s teams also put in excellent performances to finish second and third respectively, after losing out on a penalty shootout in the final.

It has been a pleasure to take this group of talented players on tour and their behaviour has been exemplary throughout, while representing Swindon Town. We would like to congratulate all the players and coaches on a hugely successful tournament.
