It has been a busy and productive festive period for all of our STFC Foundation teams, who took part in a series of competitive fixtures against teams from across the region.

The action began on 22 December, when we welcomed Watford and Crystal Palace to Foundation Park. All our STFC teams faced both visiting sides, who also competed against each other, in a day filled with high-quality matches.

There were plenty of fantastic goals and impressive teamwork on display throughout the day. Most importantly, the fixtures provided valuable match experience, allowing players to put into practice the skills and concepts they have been developing in training.

Following Christmas, the competitive schedule continued on 29 December as we hosted five Under-12 teams for a round of matches. This included our STFC U12s, who benefited from excellent preparation ahead of their football trip to Barcelona in 2026.

On the same day, our STFC Under-10 girls took part in competitive fixtures at the Nigel Eady Centre against Cheltenham and Gloucestershire. The girls delivered some outstanding performances and were rewarded with several impressive victories.

To conclude the day, our Girls Under-14 ETC squad played an in-house fixture against our Girls Under-15 CFFE team. The match proved to be a valuable and challenging test for both sides, bringing an action-packed festive programme to a strong finish.
