Last night was the last session for the DS Active group for the season ²⁰¹⁴⁄₁₅. They meet every Wednesday 5 – 6pm at the Haydon Centre where Allan Minns, the STFC Community Coach puts the youngsters through their paces. The group of 18 participants work on basic football skills, team play and social skills where they practise all these in game situations. The group starts back in September 2015 with future fixtures hopefully being planned with like minded clubs such as Northampton Town, Exeter City and others. It is also hoped that the players will compete in the National DS Active festival scheduled for June 2016.
