[caption id=“attachment_5434” align=“alignright” width=“300”] Twilight Winners[/caption] STFC Football in the Community Trust in partnership with Swindon Borough Council (SBC), delivered a Mini Soccer Tournament at the Oakfield Youth Centre on Monday 3^rd November. There was an array of teams who took part, with the standard of play being of a very high order with the games being contested in a competitive and sporting manner. The tournament was run under the banner of the Twilight programme delivered by the STFC Community Trust (FITC), and in conjunction with the Street Games project headed by Swindon Borough Council. All of the participants were delighted to receive a souvenir T‑Shirt for taking part, with the two finalists walking away with winners and runners up medals respectively. The winning team of (left to right) Jay Fenwick, Jake Gibbs, Brandon Fenwick, Amara Holgate, Tom Witham and Joe Wakeley fought off tough opposition to eventually win through and take away the silverware. It is planned that the FITC, along with SBC are to deliver similar events on a monthly basis, for 14 to 19 year olds who reside within the Borough. The weekly Twilight sessions take place at various locations around the Town, offering football opportunities during the evenings.
