Last week, we had the pleasure of visiting Oliver Tomkins Primary School to deliver an exciting assembly as part of the Premier League Primary Stars programme. It was fantastic to engage with the pupils and introduce them to the many opportunities that exist within the world of football, both on and off the pitch. The energy and enthusiasm in the room made it a truly memorable visit.

During the assembly, we explored the wide range of roles and careers available within football. From players, coaches, and referees to sports journalists, physiotherapists, analysts, and marketing professionals, we highlighted how the sport relies on a diverse team of people with different talents and interests. This helped pupils understand that there are many pathways into the industry, not just becoming a professional player.

We also focused on how these careers connect directly to the subjects and skills developed in school. For example, maths is vital for analysts and accountants, English supports careers in media and communications, and science plays a key role in sports performance and physiotherapy. By linking classroom learning to real-world opportunities, we encouraged pupils to recognise the importance of their education and the transferable skills they are building every day.

We love our supporters.

And we love what we do. But we couldn’t do it without these great people that get behind us. Be a supporter.
