Free Football Sessions for Ages 8-18

Premier League Kicks

STFC Community Foundation’s Premier League Kicks programme, is part of a project run by clubs across the country, funded by the Premier League. The purpose of the project is to engage children between the ages of 8 – 18 in football and personal development opportunities including educational workshops, volunteering, youth voice & social action projects.

The aim of Premier League Kicks is to inspire children and young people to achieve their potential and improve their wellbeing; working together to build stronger; safer and more inclusive communities.

The main objectives of Premier League Kicks are:

  • To increase playing, coaching and officiation opportunities in sport.
  • To strengthen communities through volunteering and social action.
  • To inspire young people to develop positive, supportive relationships with one another and local authorities.

We currently deliver free Friday Night football sessions at Foundation Park and Abbey Park School, as well as after-school clubs in the local community. We have organised workshops with guidance coaches on key societal themes, such as the prevention of knife crime. Additional to this, we are always looking for new opportunities we can offer our regular Kicks participants, and they have had the opportunity to play tournament football on multiple occasions, including playing in regional tournaments and the National Premier League Kicks Cup.
