Wiltshire FA Launches New Black, Asian and Mixed Heritage Referees Course
Wiltshire FA is proud to announce the launch of a new Referees Course specifically for individuals from Black, Asian and Mixed Heritage backgrounds, taking place in February 2026.
This exciting initiative aims to encourage and support greater diversity in football officiating, offering a welcoming and inclusive pathway for people from underrepresented communities to become qualified match officials.
Course Details
The course will be delivered over two sessions:
- Thursday 13th February 2026 – 18:00 to 20:00
- Friday 14th February 2026 – 09:00 to 17:00
Both sessions will take place at Foundation Park, Swindon, located next to the home of Swindon Town FC.
Affordable and Accessible
At just £40, this course offers exceptional value for anyone looking to begin their refereeing journey. Participants will receive expert guidance from experienced Wiltshire FA tutors, practical on-pitch training, and all the support needed to confidently take charge of their first matches.
