Last night, Swindon Town FC Community Foundation were proud to take part in the annual Swindon BATs bowling tournament, kindly organised by our friends at Zurich Community Trust.

The event brought together teams from across the community for an evening filled with fun, friendship and fundraising in support of a truly fantastic cause. Representing the Foundation was a brilliant team, joined by Glynn, a partially sighted bowler, alongside his wonderful guide dog, Meg. The group thoroughly enjoyed the tournament, making plenty of new friends throughout the evening while helping to raise vital funds for Swindon BATs.

There was also plenty of success on the lanes, with our team achieving the highest single-game score of the tournament — an impressive 726 points.

A huge congratulations and thank you goes to Mark Flay and Cheryl Bateman for organising such a flawless event, as well as to everyone at Swindon BATs and all of the volunteers who helped the evening run so smoothly.

We’re already looking forward to returning next year.
