It was a fantastic week of action for the C6 teams, with both sides securing impressive victories in their respective fixtures. 

The Girls 1’s were first in action as they travelled to face Stoke in the quarter-final of the CEFA Cup. The team delivered a brilliant performance to claim a 4 – 2 victory and book their place in the semi-finals.

Elise Clayton proved to be the star of the show, scoring a superb hat-trick with three quality goals to lead the team to victory. Star Allen added the fourth goal of the game and was also named Player of the Match for her outstanding performance. 

With the win secured, the girls now look ahead to a home semi-final against Derby as they continue their cup run and look to keep their crown from 2025.

Meanwhile, the Boys 2’s were also on the road, travelling to Watford for an important league fixture. The team produced a strong display to earn a 2 – 1 win and return to Swindon with a vital three points as they push closer to the top of the league table.

Goals from Jack Moss and Finlay Mowe sealed the victory, rounding off a successful week for the C6 programme and showcasing the determination and talent across the squads.
