This STFC Community Foundation is recognising and raising awareness in the Play Safe Weekend. 

PlaySafe is led by The Football Association and endorsed by the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC).

It is supported each year by the Premier League, EFL, Barclays Women’s Super League and Barclays Women’s Championship, with every level of English football and its participating organisations getting behind the campaign.

Anyone’s love of football can be taken away by negative behaviour and abuse. Safeguarding prevents this from happening. A Play Safe weekend at the start of each season is there to put safeguarding at the forefront of people’s minds. It reminds everyone to watch, listen, talk, act in every football environment.
