Staying Connected X Project Me

News

Posted Oct 12, 2022

Today we welcomed some of our Project Me & Staying Connected participants to a collaboration event, here at Foundation Park.

Following on from Monday’s Mental Health Awareness Day, our two groups were invited in to complete some mindfulness tasks, in the form of emotions worksheets and bracelet making. The purpose of these activities was to recognise who’ and what’ we are thankful for. Focusing on these aspects can contribute towards positive mental health.

During these activities, our cohort of participants had the opportunity to engage with one another, forming positive relationships between different generations.

A huge thank you goes to our participants from Mountford Manor, Goddard Park & our Staying Connected group, for their positive engagement in the session!

This project was initiated and supported by a team of volunteers from Intel.

Intel have been our main sponsor for over 10 years and have supported with a number of projects through financial or voluntary capacity. Over the last few months, we have had some fantastic voluntary support and today’s event was a real highlight.

A huge thank you to the team of Volunteers for delivering a wonderful event!
