Mental Health Awareness Week
This week marks Mental Health Awareness Week, and here at the Swindon Town FC Community Foundation we are proud to stand together in raising awareness and showing support for anyone who may be struggling.
Mental health is just as important as physical health, and it is vital that people know they are never alone. Everyone faces challenges at different points in their lives, and having a supportive environment can make a huge difference.
At the Foundation, we believe the power of sport can help bring people together, build confidence, and create positive connections. Through football, teamwork, friendships, and the wider community, we aim to provide safe and welcoming spaces where young people feel supported, valued, and listened to.
Whether it’s through taking part in sessions, speaking with coaches and teammates, or simply being part of a community, we want every young person involved with the Foundation to know that their wellbeing matters.
Mental Health Awareness Week is an important opportunity to encourage conversations, reduce stigma, and remind people that asking for help is a sign of strength. Together, we can continue creating an environment where everyone feels able to speak openly and access the support they need.
At Swindon Town FC Community Foundation, we remain committed to supporting the wellbeing of our community, on and off the pitch.
We love our supporters.
And we love what we do. But we couldn’t do it without these great people that get behind us. Be a supporter.
