FIVE OUT OF FIVE for our C6 Teams!
The STFC Community Foundation celebrated a historic achievement as all five Commonweal C6 teams secured victories on a “Fifteen-Point Wednesday.” For the first time, every team emerged triumphant on one day, with an impressive aggregate score of 34 – 2. This remarkable accomplishment highlights the growing strength and talent within the C6 football programme, launched in partnership with Commonweal Sixth Form.
The C6 initiative, established in 2016, offers students from across Wiltshire a unique blend of high-quality education and professional football training. Based at Commonweal’s state-of-the-art sixth form centre, students pursue A Levels or vocational qualifications while engaging in football training and competitions against other professional clubs. The programme is particularly proud of its offerings for young female players, being the only professional football educational programme in Wiltshire.
The success of the C6 teams reflects the high standard of both the coaching and the players, supported by STFC Community Foundation’s focus on education, skills development, and competitive play.
Our “Players of the Matches” from Wednesday are testament to this, so a huge well done to Leah, Charlie, Izzy, Rudi, and Luke, whose outstanding performances contributed to this milestone.
This achievement demonstrates the success of the C6 model in nurturing talent and building a pathway for young athletes to excel both on and off the pitch.

We love our supporters.
And we love what we do. But we couldn’t do it without these great people that get behind us. Be a supporter.
