We are currently collecting donated football boots to support our ongoing projects in Zambia and help make a real difference to young people and local communities through football.

The Swindon Town Foundation team has developed a strong partnership with the Zambia Livingstone FA Coaching Association through a Memorandum of Understanding agreement. Over the years, the Foundation has visited Lusaka, Kitwe, and Livingstone, delivering coaching education programmes, youth development projects, and community sessions in schools and local areas.

Through this partnership, the Foundation has proudly supported a number of important initiatives, including the installation of solar lighting in local schools, allowing children to study for longer hours each day. The team has also delivered disability coaching projects, provided matchday experiences, and offered refereeing education opportunities for aspiring young officials.

During visits to Zambia, the coaching staff have worked with hundreds of young players and coaches, helping to spread the values and spirit of Swindon Town Football Club internationally.

Most recently, during the 2024 visit, the Foundation delivered a coaching education course for the Livingstone FA Coaching Association, alongside coaching sessions for local teams and schools, and overseeing tournaments for Under-14 and Under-16 players.

To support these projects, the Foundation regularly ships footballs, kits, boots, and equipment to Zambia thanks to the generosity of participants, partners, and supporters within the Swindon community, as well as the continued support of DHL. Ahead of the 2024 visit, the Foundation also donated and shipped one of its community minibuses, which is now being used to support the Livingstone community.

We are once again asking for the support of the Swindon community by donating any football boots that are no longer used or no longer fit. Every pair donated can help provide opportunities for young players overseas and support the continued growth of football within local communities in Zambia.
